best automatic hair curler for short hair for Q & A

Frequently Asked Questions.

A: Split ender is designed to get rid of the split ends of hair without affecting length. The technique of dividing the hair into thin strands is the key to achieving a uniform cut of the split ends.

A: Yes, as long as you use very small amounts of hair at a time, it will work on all hair types. Just make sure your hair is straightened! If it’s curly this will tug and be uncomfortable, and not work properly.

A: Yes this totally works great on your hair. It does not damage it. It gets all the dead ends perfectly. You will definitely love this product

A: No need to straighten your hair first. When your hair is in the trimmer and you pull it through steadily it pulls straight to trim and the split sticks out to get trimmed off. You can always look in the window to see your progress.

A: After doing the first three steps which are washing, drying and comb the hair, you can use a hair straightener to loosen the curl. Once this step is done, divide the hair into fine strands.

A: Split end remover is designed for all hair types. On curly hair, it works correctly. It is important that the hair is washed, dried, and combed free of tangles. We can recommend that if the hair has a strong curl. release it a little with a hair iron to loosen the hair a bit.

A: Once you have your hair clean and without any conditioner and you are ready. divide the hair into small parts and follow all the instructions, start the treatment using Hair Care Machine as if it were any other tool such as a hair straightener or a hair dryer.

With everything going on we know going to salon is difficult and quite possibly dang near impossible. This thing.... where do I even start. I have fine straight hair. Doesn't really do much but sit there. It takes color and goes straight. So I figured this might work for me. What I wasn't prepared for was how my hair felt AFTER I got done. It was straight from the salon after a fresh cut feel, you know the kind you can never replicate once you wash your hair again after leaving... seriously that good. For lockdown states or even minimal contact areas this will save your hair. 3 times through (each 2 inch section like the directions say) and my hair felt like butter. I could see the ends coming off in the container and it was straight bliss. Hello no more split end hair, it's nice to see you again! Ok now the my experience how to's below 1 - you absolutely MUST have clean hair. No product no anything. I washed my hair for 3 days straight in prep for my "cut" and made sure on the 2 days before to limit the amount of product. On day 3 cut day... double wash NO product. 2 - detangle - really work the brush into your hair slowly if you've got a nest going on. but get your hair as flat straight as you can before drying 3 - Make sure your hair is 100% dry. No damp spots this is crucial. You want the pro to glide over the hair not get stuck. 4 - brush again. seriously I cant stress this enough. brushing again will make sure there are no tangles for the pro to go through. 4.5 - if you have curlier hair - I suggest straightening it first so it's easier to move through 5 - half your hair - part down the middle and pull away from the other side. 6 - start slow and start small. Make sure the arrow is pointing the way you are moving the pro down the hair. Definitely dont rush. Smaller sections of hair is good to get a nice clean cut on the hair. 7 - work through slowly and 3 times on each section. This is my testimony of the product. I paid full price and didn't get anything from the company just fyi.

After a yr of internal debate because of the price, I finally caved. It arrived in 2 days, well packaged & perfectly clean. I have had a lot of breakage from hair ties plus my hair is 1/2 straight, 1/2 curly... tons of split ends all over. Anyone who has curls knows the natural distrust of a hairdresser with scissors though & I wanted to keep my length. After it arrived, I washed my hair, let it air dry while occasionally brushing my fingers through to remove as much curl as possible. I know the instructions say to straighten, but heat without protective product on curly hair? Ha! That's crazy business! Once dry, I sectioned my hair, put on some netflix & went to it. 1st, you have to figure out the sweet spot for the amount of hair. Not enough or too much, it won't work as well. 2. It's awkward to center the hair on the guides, but it gets easier as you go. If you don't have it centered, strands can get caught & pulled. 3. If you listen, you can actually hear the blades ticking off the stray ends so I ended up doing 4 passes until I didn't hear the cutting sound as much plus I had a LOT of breakage. 4. It's probably best to empty it out at least once during a sitting as I noticed a lot of hairs kinda stuck around the little blades... I can imagine too much would render it less effective & may gum it up if you have a lot of hair. It was very intimidating at 1st, but it's made to be darn near fool proof. I can tell it didn't get every tiny straggler, yet my hair feels so much smoother, softer & managable. I do hope it lasts long enough to be worth the price.

To start off, I have very long hair. Down to my butt. I spend an outrageous amount of money maintaining it and just like the guy on the box sit every day cutting split ends with a shear. I am extremely picky about my hair and am that girl who uses Oribe, Olaplex every month, hair oil multiple times a day, and even have a special satin cover made for my hair when it's in a bun (almost always). Now that you know what type of person is writing this review-- on to the meat. No, it did not ruin my hair. No, it did not take length off (I would've noticed even 1/4 inch). Yes, it DID cut off a bunch of little ends. Not only split ones but it cuts all the little ends of the shorter (broken) hairs throughout your head. The logic is that its trying to cut ABOVE the split on each little hair to prevent further breakage. It works, I enjoy it and I will probably be using it every couple months. IT DOES NOT REPLACE A TRIP TO THE SALON TO TRIM YOUR ENDS. Those are two totally different maintenance items for your hair. PLEASE still go to get your ends trimmed at the salon. This tool was specifically made for us that like to sit and cut off the split ends. It's not quite as good as sitting with the shears and cutting them yourself but it DOES help in that process and gets a lot of little hairs along the way. tl;dr: yes buy if you are a hair weirdo like me.

The Split Ender is amazing at trimming off split ends! I was a bit skeptical about buying it, but it is totally worth the money. I've been letting my hair grow out for about three years and I also color treat it every approx. 3-4 months with highlights/lowlights. Since I haven't had a haircut for several years, my hair was getting dry-looking and a lot of fizzy split ends throughout. At this hair trimmer is so easy to use and the results are amazing. You can see all the little split ends that were removed from using it in my hair. My hair is much more silky soft and smooth now. For reference, I have straight, fine hair that is several inches longer than my shoulders. I'm really not very good with using hair tools, but this is so easy to use and the instructions are very simple to follow.

I am very happy with the product. For people expecting miracles, and that have no patience, my advice would be to just go and get a haircut because this product it is good and if you don't want to cut your lenghts you need to have patience. Do some reaserch to see how it work before buying to understand how to use it, and you won't be disapointed.

I saw a bunch of negative reviews that this doesn't work, but I washed my hair, blow dried and straightened it (I have naturally wavy hair) and the product worked great for me. Some of the hairs don¡¯t get caught in the tray and end up falling on the counter so there is a bit of a mess, but I love that I can give myself trims while I'm growing out my hair. I have a lot of chemically damaged ends and my hair was noticeably softer after several passes.
